Aberration

Aberrations are alien entities with bizarre anatomy and strange abilities, often connected to the Far Realm. These creatures defy the natural order, possessing mental powers and innate magical abilities that stem from their alien minds rather than the mystical forces of the world. Examples of aberrations include aboleths, beholders, and mind flayers²³.
